With a European call for proposals from the PNRR, the Metropolitan City of Bologna has decided to carry out the expansion of the Liceo Scientifico Da Vinci high school, a historic educational institution in the city. The project, in full compliance with the DNSH directives dictated by the EU, is aimed at constructing a building that can serve as an example for educational projects in terms of comfort for students and teachers and fully automated (from climate control to window shading, etc.) so as to minimize management controls and maximize energy savings. The reinforced concrete frame (a choice forced by the existing portion) is contrasted by the entire system composed of the skin and subdivisions of the spaces, which will be made of wood and a futuristic exposed plant system. The intervention also contemplates the creation of a sports climbing wall, an approved 60-meter athletic track and a playground for basketball and volleyball, all immersed in a new green urban park that will surround the school.
Con bando Europeo del PNRR, la Città Metropolitana di Bologna ha deciso di realizzare l’ampliamento del Liceo Scientifico Da Vinci, storica realtà educativa della Città. Il progetto, nel pieno rispetto delle direttive DNSH dettate dalla EU, è finalizzato alla costruzione di un edificio che possa essere da esempio per progetti educational in termini di confort per studenti ed insegnanti e completamente automatizzato (dal controllo del clima all’ombreggiatura delle finestre ecc.) in modo da ridurre al minimo i controlli di gestione e massimizzare il risparmio energetico. Al telaio in c.a. (scelta obbligata dalla porzione esistente) si contrappone tutto il sistema composto dalla pelle e dalle suddivisioni degli spazi che sarà in legno e un sistema impiantistico avveniristico a vista. L’intervento contempla anche la creazione di una parete per arrampicata sportiva, una pista di atletica da 60 metri omologata ed un playground per basket e volley, il tutto immerso in un nuovo parco urbano verde che circonderà la scuola.
